HR Manager / Human Resources Manager

ROLE PURPOSE
Acropolis The Cleaners is seeking a dynamic, organised, and experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee the company’s Human Resources function. The successful candidate will work closely with the Management Team and Department Managers to ensure the effective recruitment, development, engagement, and management of our people. The role will also be responsible for establishing and continuously improving modern HR processes, policies, and practices, while contributing to the development of a positive, professional, and high-performing company culture
kEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop and implement the company’s Human Resources strategy, policies, and initiatives in alignment with overall business objectives
- Manage the full recruitment and selection cycle, including workforce planning, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding

- Oversee compensation, benefits, incentives, and employee recognition programmes
- Supervise and coordinate payroll-related matters, annual leave, absences, working schedules, attendance, and other HR administration processes
- Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace issues, and other employee-related concerns in a fair, professional, and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Cyprus employment legislation, regulations, and internal company policies and procedures.
- Develop, review, and regularly update HR policies, procedures, job descriptions, employee documentation, and other HR-related materials
- Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, internal communication, company culture, and employee satisfaction
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to Management and Department Managers on employee management, performance, development, and workplace matters.
- Monitor and analyse key HR metrics and KPIs, including employee turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, performance, and training, and prepare regular reports for Management
- Support organisational changes, restructuring initiatives, and other projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and overall company effectiveness
- Ensure a professional, confidential, and employee-focused approach in all HR activities and matters.
- Identify staffing requirements and work closely with Department Managers to ensure timely and effective workforce planning and recruitment.
- Develop, implement, and manage employee performance management and goal-setting processes
REQUIERMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, or another relevant field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus employment legislation and HR practices
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound and timely decisions.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Management, Department Managers, and employees at all levels of the organisation
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate employees, and effectively manage workplace relationships
- Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR and payroll systems
- Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Officer, or similar position with increased responsibilities will be considered a significant advantage
